2026 has been a year of change and division. But here’s the good news: you have the power to make a difference. Right here in Somerset, you can invest in something that truly matters—your local library.

Your support brings the library to life! Every gift funds engaging programs, book giveaways, inspiring author talks, and teen spaces where young adults can thrive. Because of your generosity, we’ve expanded our Library of Things with a metal detector and other unique items, and added games and activities in the teen area, and provided a display case to showcase local collections and community artwork.

Our 2026 Goal:

This year, we’re excited to expand learning and inspiration for both young children and adults:

• Launchpads for early learners — tablets preloaded with educational games and activities that help preschoolers build early literacy skills.
• A special author visit this November — bringing our community together to celebrate reading, storytelling, and imagination.

Your gift also helps the library continue creating welcoming spaces where local groups and neighbors can share resources, ideas, and experiences.
