Redwood Recovery Project is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals rebuild their lives in recovery from substance use disorders. Through safe, structured sober living and strong community support, Redwood Recovery Project provides the stability and connection individuals in recovery need to heal, grow and thrive.

At the heart of the organization is Sequoia House, a supportive sober living home where women in recovery can live in a substance-free environment while developing the skills needed for long-term independence. Residents are encouraged to pursue employment, family reunification, and personal growth while building healthy routines and supportive relationships.

Redwood Recovery Project also provides rent scholarships and supportive programming so that financial barriers don’t prevent women from accessing safe housing during recovery. Beyond housing, the organization fosters a pro-social, pro-sober community through sober activities, access to resources, case management, and peer support that help individuals to build trust and meaningful lives in recovery.

By combining stable housing, peer and professional mentorship, access to mental health and substance use disorder treatment, and a strong recovery community, Redwood Recovery Project helps individuals move from crisis to stability—and ultimately toward thriving, independent lives. Donations directly support housing scholarships, recovery programming, and the growth of a supportive sober community for those in recovery throughout the St. Croix River Valley.
