Mission Restoring Hope is a grassroots nonprofit serving individuals and families facing crisis in rural Wisconsin. Based at the Wheeler Village Hall, we exist to meet people at one of the hardest moments of their lives—and help them take the next step forward with dignity.

Every week, we serve people who are starting over after homelessness, domestic violence, job loss, recovery, natural disasters, or sudden life changes. Many arrive with very little—sometimes nothing more than a bag of clothes and a long list of worries. What they need most are the everyday items many of us take for granted.

What We Provide

Through generous donations and community support, we provide:

• Hygiene and cleaning kits for individuals and families entering new housing

• Home Starter Kits with dishes, pots and pans, towels, bedding, and household basics

• Clothing and essentials for adults, children, and seniors

• Emergency support for those displaced by fire, disaster, or sudden crisis

• Low-cost thrift store access, helping families stretch their budgets while supporting our mission

We also partner with local agencies and organizations to distribute items where they are needed most, ensuring donations are used effectively and respectfully.
